The uniting and blending of cultures has been with me since before I was born. I am Chinese by descent, but second-generation born and raised in India, my family is a perfect example of the coming together of the best parts of diverse ethnicities, cultures and religions. I truly believe that variety is the spice of life, finding my happiest and most exciting moments through discovery and adventure.
Travel has been a necessity for me from a very young age - visiting various religious gatherings and family events around India which I always loved and looked forward to. As I grew older my thirst for travel and unique experiences also grew. The more breathtaking and mind-blowing moments tourism and travel supplied me, the more I wanted to discover. Every excursion I went on held its own magic - offering a unique tapestry of sights, flavours, insights, perspectives and personalities. Being treated like actual royalty by Richard and the team at Wharekauhau Country Estate, a chaperoned tour of The Great Wall of China, choppering into a private bay and a personal chef for the weekend at Seascape Annandale, pushing my partner into a Xenote after a 40-degree day of exploring ancient Mayan cities (note: I can’t swim), partying with Kygo in a private booth at XS nightclub in Las Vegas, savouring Micheline starred Raman from a hole on the wall for lunch and enjoying show-stopping cocktails and an exotic dancing ninja show for the evening in Tokyo. With every adventure I complete I come home with 10 more adventures for my bucket list.
I settled in New Zealand in 2007 to start my career as a CA. By 2012 I decided to make my passion for travel work for me, starting a boutique luxury travel company that entices some of India’s wealthiest honeymooners to New Zealand. I have spent the last nine years networking throughout NZ and hunting for locations and experiences that are second to none.

My passion for travel started when I was six years old on a family tour of Europe. From nature to culture everything amazed me, seeing London and the changing of the royal guard, through Germany, Switzerland and of course learning that French pastries are best eaten in France. With my passion for adventure sparked at this young age I quickly explored my own back yard, taonga o Aotearoa - whether it be road trips, ski trips, mountain treks or marathon runs.
After completing my Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Otago I moved to Japan which allowed me to fully immerse myself in a culture so different to my deeply kiwi roots. Travelling through Japan and the surrounding countries, my fascination with the many diverse and unique cultures only grew. My passion for yoga took me from the heights of the Himalayas to meditating with Deepak Chopra in his Carlsbad studio. My list of places to visit is definitely growing rather than shrinking but travelling has allowed me to connect with the world and continues to impress and amaze me.
I returned to live in New Zealand recently and have rediscovered its beauty all over again this time with special attention to the world-class luxury I had not seen before. A lot of the most beautiful places I have seen in this country are not very well known by locals because they are mostly marketed to overseas tourists, kiwi’s typically searching further abroad for experiences that are “world class”.
Having spent the last 10 years in the retail industry I have come to know the strength of networks and the value of personal relationships. One of my key skills is identifying and solving problems, with a focus on adding value – I am truly excited and cannot wait to apply this to my love of travel and curate your next unforgettable experience.
